GirlScouts & My little Artist

Yeah it's been awhile since I have blogged but when you have a K and a 2nd grader its really hectic.Molly is now a daisy girl scout which is for K-1 and she is super excited.We have only been to 1 meeting and this is a new adventure for both of us so looking forward to it alot. Both of the girls are getting over the Flu this wk Molly got to go back to school Thursday and Bayleigh gets to go back Monday. it has rained here going on 2 wks straight no sun in sight so Bayleigh since she has been sick and not able to go out so she has been drawing and she is my little artist her teachers know exactly what papers are Bayleighs do to the fact that she a;ways has them alittle doodle on it. so here is the pics she has drawn on her chalkboard wall. SCHOOL DAYS

Well today was the girls 1st day of school Bayleigh in 2nd and Molly in Kindergarten, Where has the time gone might I ask?!?!?!They just got home not to long ago and they both said they had a good day so I was very pleased to hear that just hope the whole yr goes that way. To all of your children adn teachers out there hope your first day back was a great one too.

the last days of school and our vacation to Chattanooga

Well its been a couple weeks been really busy,with the ending of school, cake classes which I am thru with for right now,T-Ball and going on vacation last wk so we have definitly been busy. Took Bayleigh to the dr yesterday and got her cast off and she is really excited about that since she wants to go swimming this weekend. I had to do a cake for the teachers at Bayleighs school for the end of the yr there colors are purple and gold it turned out really good. We went to Chattanooga last week and had so much fun this is some of the stuff we did while there, Aquarium,imax,discovery museum,rock city,ruby falls did some geocaching and we had a great time. well here are some pics of the last couple wks hope yall have a great weekend.

Bayleigh's Broke Wrist

Well on Friday I had to go to Bayleighs school for a Mothers day tea Molly went with me. I took Bayleigh home with me after we finished since it was soon time to get out,we dont live very far from the school at all.They got home changed into play clothes and out the door they went I dont think we had been home 5 minutes when I was getting up form the computer to go to the kitchen and I heard her screaming well I go running I thought she had gotten into a antbed well apparently she had been pushed off the monkey bars by her sister not intentionally and she fell on her wrist wrong. so I call Charlie who is in a meeting when I call he rushes home and takes her to the ER 4 hrs later they come home with a sling and a splint and tell me she has a broke wrist have to get a real cast on Monday so thats what we do yesterday I call and we got there at 11 she got a hot pink cast and was on her way.here are some pics

my circus cakeand a Mommy getaway

Well I havent been on here in awhile so alot has been going on. I had to do a cake for my gumpast fondant course so I would pass so I will have pics of it and I am enjoying this so much. This past weekend I met my aunt at her friends house in Marianna,Ar to just getaway for a weekend alone. Well Friday night we went to Tunica,Ms to eat at Paula Deens buffet it was so good if I say so myself.I have eaten at both of her places and they are both really great. here are some pics of the weekend we also geocached if you dont know what geocaching is its like treasure hunting but with a GPS it tells you where to go and you search for a treasure it is very fun and addicting and my girls love to go "Treasure Hunting" anyway let me get off here just wanted to share a few things have a good week bloggers.

Easter

Well havent been on here in awhile been pretty busy. We went home to Columbus for Bo and Kyndals wedding on Saturday and Easter. The wedding was very pretty and we worked our butts off and now I am still exhausted. Sunday we went to church and the little kids told about the resurection with ressurection eggs and it made my heart feel good that my girls knew what Easter really was all about instead of the Easter bunny,yes we do the whole bunny thing BUT they also know what is the true meaning of Easter. we went to grannys ate some lunch, hunted some eggs, took some pictures and came home. so here are some of the weekend

My Final Cake,The finished Swingset,and Everything in between

Well I havent been on here in awhile I am a terrible blogger hopefully I will get better. As you know I have been taking cake classes well here is my pics of my final cake.I will start a different course starting Thursday.The swingset that we finally finished and the girls have so enjoyed it and they will really enjoy it come summer.This past friday we went with Mollys class to the CHOM in Memphis it was so much fun cant wait to take them to the Pink Palace and the zoo in summer. I also had My Best friends little girls birthday cake to make which was My little Ponies. We had a very busy week-weekend so hopefully this wk it wont be that hope everybody has a great wk. The Swingset,My 8th Anniversary and Happy St Patty's Day

Well let me begin by saying Me and Charlie wanted to get the girls a nice wooden swingset for their birthdays.We have a winter kid and a summer kid so we decided to wait till it warmed up some and then go get it. well charlie went to Walmart Sunday night and picked up the swingset so we could put it together Monday well we woke up yesterday morning drank some coffee fed the girls breakfast,put on some clothes and headed out the door to put together a swingset at 915am. Well lets just say we didnt come in till 945 last night Holy Cow Batman there was alot of stuff to put together and when we came in last night we still had the roof,picnic table and the little fort to build which we will finish wed afternoon. here are some pics of it so far.

Charlie and I have been married 8 yrs today and it has been the most wonderful 8 yrs of my life.Not saying that we havent had our problems because we have just like every married couple but we have worked through them and moved on and we are stronger today because of it. I love him more today than the first day I met him.We have been together for 10 yrs and its like WOW has it really been that long the time flies especially when you have kids.It's also St Patty's Day so hope ya got green on or your gonna get pinched. My 1st Class

Well I went to my 1st cake decorating class last nightI absolutly loved it I learned how to make a rose(My attempt at a rose sucked)I am gonna have to practice alot,I learned how to do embroidery,and the ruffles I cant wait to learn more I plan on doing this for a living so the classes will make me better.MY best Friends 30th Birthday is today and I sent her a suprise today to cheer her up via the Cookie momma she makes the cutest cookies ever and she lives in caledonia,ms so if you need cookies contact her she is great and the sweetest person ever so happy Birthday Jen-ay I love you!! wilton classes/Snow Day

Ok well as most of you know I have started making cakes a couple yrs ago but have never had any classes so to speak except some guidance from my Aunt. Well Thursday night I start my classes at Hobby Lobby and I am so pumped up I have always wanted to and never really been able to so I am finally getting to I am just overly jumping for joy becasue there are alot of things that I dont know how to do like flowers,roses,fondant etc so wish me luck. Sunday the girls got to see their first really big snow they had fun playing in it here are some pics of the weekend.

Bayleigh turned 7/Valentine's day

Well last weekend we went home for Bayleigh's birthday party she turned 7 wow I am getting old and where has 7 yrs gone. It just seems like yesterday that she was born. anyway we had her party on valentines day she had a great time with all her friends and cousins.that night we had a valentine's supper My sister made up cute little menu's,and we had a candle lit dinner and the girls had so much fun serving the food it was funny. here are some of the pics from the weekend.

My furniture is here!!!

Well they delivered my furniture this morning I am so excited to finally get it here. The only thing I have left to do in this room is get a area rug,some curtains and do something to my french doors. So here it is hope ya like it I know we surely do. have a great weekend.

Redneck Furniture

Well as you know I am suppose to be getting new furniture in this week so my parents came up this past weekend we had a great time well I sent my old furniture home with them since we were giving it to my best friend no big deal we could handle a few days without furniture my parents slept on our air mattress so we pulled it into the Living Room so we could have something to sit on till our furniture got here. Charlie told me to call the furniture place monday I talked to the guy he said let me call you back I was like ok well he called me back and my furniture wont be in till NEXT week ugh so we are sitting/laying on a air mattress till then ahhhh oh well maybe hopefully it will come tomorow or friday. Hope everyone has a good rest of the week

Busy Little Bee/Super Bowl

Well I started cleaning my first house today to make some extra money. while I was there oh let me back track the lady I am cleaning for keeps kids at her house about 5 or 6 so one of the daddies of the kids dropped of his son and was wanting someone to clean his house for 6-8 wks due to his regular cleaning lady is having a hysterectomy and he will need someone I was like heck yeah he told me that he would get my nmber from the lady and would be in touch I am so excited and I might have another client lined up after that so word of mouth baby I can still be home with my girls when need be and make some extra money while they are at school so the Lord is looking out for us most definitly.

On another note Super bowl is Sunday of course and my husband wants snack foods we arent having a party or anything but he wants nick nacks so I guess I will be fixing nick nacks for sunday.have a good weekend bloggers

No School

Well the kids are out of school today due to "inclement weather" we woke up to alittle snow but now its melting so no real accumilation. I am ready for some inches of snow so we can make a snow man and have snow ball fights like last yr we had 5 inches on the ground and we missed it because we had gone home for the weekend so the girls have not seen snow like that ever. anyway I will be glad when it gets warm and everybody doesnt have cabin fever!!!hope everyone is having a great week later on bloggers.

My new floors

Well they came today and installed our new floors I love them cant wait to get my furniture next week it will all look good together all I gotta do know is get me a area rug that I like.Well fixing to go do home work with daughter and eat supper and go to bed because I feel like crap-po I got a sore froat as my daughter says hope everyone has a great week ttyl

Well I sit here and wait on the guy that is coming to measure our floor I am so excited got new paint on my walls getting wood flooring next week and hopefully our furniture will be here late next week or early the week after that. This room is gonna be totally different and I am super duper excited We as long as we have been married have never purchased furniture its always been handed down to us and we never had the funds really. so now we are first furniture purchase once our room is completly thru I will take pictures.The floors are like a walnut color and it is gonna be gorgeous after this room is done gotta get on picking out colors for the other living room and hallway fun fun.Well gotta get some house stuff done hope you have a marvelous day till next time bloggers......

The Big 3-0 and 2009

Well we are 4 days into 2009 and yes its my 30th birthday today. woohoo not in my twenties anymore just another yr to me though.We are in the process of repainting room by room in our house charlie painted our den already and we go tomorow to order our new furniture which I am super excited about!!! I will post pics as we get thru with each room the before and after's. well we are getting ready to watch a movie and eat some pizza and salad so ta ta for now.This is a picture of our den now.
