homeade Poptarts

As a kid I loved poptarts still do and so do my girls. I recently seen a friend of mines blog saying she tried her hand at making them to no avail they didnt turn out as she had planned. The ladies I work with have started making them and I got to sample a strawberry one yesterday and oh my was it so very tasty here is where they got the recipe from hope this helps shannon willcutt.
On the strawberry use pie filling and use food processor to make it smooth.

a mumbled jumbled blog

Lots of things have happened since I last blogged we moved to alexandria,la and got settled in, we spent a wk in columbus,ms visiting with family the girls went to Destin with my sister and her family (while I spoiled the baby) and Molly and Gracie turned 6 & 7.

The girls were unsure about moving but none the less they had to go we got to LA on a thursday and the moving van didnt get to LA until Mon man was that a long weekend. When it did finally get here and everyone started getting settled in they started meeting friends in our neighborhood which took a big weight off my shoulders. Found out they do not start school here until the 17th of Aug which is great the girls arent really excited about having to wear uniforms but they will be fine. Here are some pics of our house.

Mollys and gracies pool party at Grannys we had a good time cant believe time has flown by so fast. The cake was made by Sandy Reynolds in caledonia she did a fabulous job. when we got home on Tues I called The Flamingo Fairy to have a special thing for thurs for Mollys actual birthday I think it is really neat they come in the middle of the night to set it up for the next day so the person can see it. Then we went out to eat for Her birthday supper and there are a couple of silly pics.

Fabulous day for a wedding

As most of you know I am a cake decorator. I got ask about a yr ago by a family friend to do her wedding cupcakes and the grooms cake of course I said yes. I had my brother in law make me a cupcake stand that was just simply fabulous wonder if I can get him to make me a square one now :) The wedding was at waverly Waters and was simply gorgeous they have a pavilion there that has wisteria vines covering it very romantic. I am pooped but everything turned out wonderfully and all was pleased so 1 wedding down and 1 to go.

Snowpalooza 2011

WOW!!! all this snow is enough to drive anyone crazy I actually thought I lived in MS not far up North. This winter it has been some crazy weather as my last post said we got 10 inches here in corinth,ms and it hadnt snowed like that here since1988 and before that 1960 something. As I sit here and blog in the last hr we have gone from a dusting to about 2 inches and we are suppose to get about 5 or so. Looks like there will be snow cream and hot chocolate in our very near future. Please be safe in travels and have fun and enjoy making memories that last a lifetime.
TO BE CONTINUED.......
