This and That

I have been rather busy between GS,cheering and cakes but I love it wouldnt trade anything for it in the world. I cant believe its a wk till Thanksgiving and this is really the first real cold snap we have had I was enjoying the warmer than ussual weather. Charlie has been working outta town thru the wk and home on the weekends so I decided to take pics while he was home one weekend they turned out really good. There is one place we took pics that had a cat well the girls thought it was to funny the cat wanted its picture too. some of the unposed pics turned out great I love to see my girls laugh like that it makes my heart feel good . I have decided to take off the whole wk of Thanksgiving from cakes to spend it with my family since havent been home since the end of sept and I get to see my sweet sweet nieces :) Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving spending it with the ones you love.

something new and unexpected

When I got thrown into being GS leader I was alittle excited but had no clue and still dont but I am really enjoying myself and my girls and am looking for ward to a great yr with these girls. I didnt know I would love doing this but I do. This past sunday we went to the pumpkin patch and celebrated Juliette Gordon Lowes Birthday for those of you that dont know she is the founder of GS. Here are a couple pics from the weekend.

I have started this yr being a girl scout leader both my own girls are in my troop along with a lot of their friends. This past Sat as our service project for the month we went and played with the animals, donated some stuff and got a tour of the place. They even have a ferret.

A lot has happened since I last posted. My niece addi was born was the big thing. Girl scouts are in full swing . I love fall!!! the cool temps,changing colors, football ,soups and all the Yummy smells that means Halloween, thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner here are some pics.

Cookie Monster and Sheepdogs

I have been so busy since school has started between cheering,cakes,GS its been chaios. I had to do these cute cookie monster cupcakes for a preschool class that was studying the color blue they turned out sooo cute.


I had bought this book awhile back and never made anything out of it until now. I have a aunt that loves sheepdogs has 3 of her own and has been begging for someone to make her some. This book Hello cupcake is sooo cute with many ideas and now there is a 2nd one out that is whats new cucpake if you dont have them go out and get them .

Graduation & Memorial day

Well for Memorial day weekend we went to charlie's brothers house in Petal,ms to see my nephew graduate high school man am I getting old I remmeber 11 yrs ago when me and charlei started dating he was so smal now he is going off to state next yr :( we came home on sat night because cake duty called on Sunday it was barnyard and horses at my sunday morning had enough batter to make us a couple memorial day cupcakes which made my girls very happy !! it is weekends like this that I do miss living in caledonia,ms becasue of my Grannys pool man oh man but I will for sure make up for it the next few weekends becasue it seems I will be there alot. Here lately

Been really busy with the last few wks of school winding down so I havent been on here to blog I know shame on me anywho here are the cakes I have done here recently and thank the Lord summer is here.

Let's Go Fishing

I had to do a fishing grooms cake it turned out really cute I thought. the people loved and said it was a big hit. I made little ducks and turtles, cattails and weeds I am kinda getting the hang of this fondant stuff lol but still gotta lot of practicing left to do.My Husband left today till sunday to go on a "Man Trip" which consist of fishing camping and doing dumb ol' boy stuff hope he has a good time he needs it. So now we gotta figure out what us girls are gonna do for the weekend.

Easter,Parties, & recent events

I absolutely LOVE Easter for many different reasons #1 is because of Jesus who died for my sins and rose again the 3rd day,#2 and so on is because of the pastely colors,the cutsy dresses,dying eggs,hunting easter eggs and spending time with all my family and friends here are some of the pictures from Easter weekend.




The Monday after Easter my husband was off and we took the girls to Tishimingo state park they have a swinging bridge and some other cool spots great picture taking places will definitely have to go back. The girls thought it was kinda eery that the bridge move as you walked across and that they would fall if it broke hmmm kinda scary when you think of it that way too.

Spring Fever

Don't know about all of ya''ll but us at the caldwell house is having Spring Fever the buttercups are blooming,the birds are singing man I love this time of yr minus the pollen that brings allergies but thats what meds are for I guess. Waiting on a customer to come pick up a cake and then me and the girls are headed out to enjoy this pretty weather hope ya'll have a great day.This is my new painting that is in my Kitchen

Choo-Choo- Trains,Auburn football & Spring Break

Friday was definitely a busy busy day had 2 cake orders to do by that afternoon a train and Auburn football cake my 1st attempt at both, the Train was for Bayleighs teachers son Peyton that was turning 3 and loves trains. I have to say myself I did a pretty dang good job I love learning new techniques the other one was for a little boy turning 1 and they loved Auburn football. never understood why you would do a 1 yr old a Auburn cake and not something cutesy because they aren't old enough to choose but whatever who am I to judge. The girls are on Spring Break this wk and we are all so excited lots of fun things planned the zoo,Spring Park and fun times with friends we cant wait Hope all of you have a great wk we sure are.

Bayleighs Slumber Party

All Bayleigh had talked about from her 7th birthday to her 8th was she wanted a Hannah Sleepover and of course I didnt dissappoint. I had my hairdresser come and fix all the little girls hair and me and my bestie did all their makeup and we dressed them in "Hannah esk" attire and we put on a show which was alot of fun.

Girl Scouts and Elvis

WOW I should be ashamed not blogging since Oct. but none the less here I am blogging away. This past weekend was absolutely gorgeous Molly and her GS Troop went to Graceland on Sat for Troop day that they have every yr there lots of fun. when we got back to Corinth I took Molly to spend the night with her friend "Melia" and charlie and I took Bayleigh to see "Alice" which was Awesome I do recommend going and seeing it. Spring Break is 4 days away and I am sooo excited lots of stuff planeed hoping for pretty weather so we can do it all. Anyway here are some pics from the weekend.
